Tom Reddacliff

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Tom joined the Adrians Team in July of 2024 as the Chief Executive Officer. In his role, he will lead all aspects of the business, spanning across Business Advisory, Private Wealth, Tax Compliance, Operations, and Human Resources.

Tom has brought extensive knowledge and expertise to Adrians, stemming from his 30 year tenure in the financial services industry. Over the years Tom has held positions as General Manager and Managing Director at MLC, which also involved MLC Foundation responsibilities for circa $1m p.a. to Lifeline, fuelling his passion as an advocate for mental health.

He has chaired the Board and worked on sub committees of 6 firms with operations in accounting, private wealth, and finance across Australia, all of which were ASX listed subsidiaries. Within these firms he occupied the title of Chair of Compliance, Investment, and Remuneration Committees.

In addition to these accomplishments, Tom was responsible for major projects and strategic plans with large, listed ASX companies through too small to medium sized professional practices and has been a Responsible Manager on 3 major Australian Financial Services Licenses.

At a personal level Tom has been married for 24 years and has two daughters that have now graduated St Margarets school. He was previously the President of the St Margarets Parents and Friends Association, showcasing Tom’s dedication and pride for his family. Tom also enjoys playing sports, and is a long-term member and player for the University of Queensland Cricket Club and the Royal Queensland Golf Club.

Justin van den Boog

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Justin joined the Adrians team in 2024 as our Head of Operations before becoming the Chief Operating Officer and brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the financial services industry to his role. With a strong commitment to client growth and long-term success, he has consistently delivered outstanding advice and service throughout his career. Justin has brought this passion to Adrians and plays a major role in helping us deliver the outstanding advice and service that our clients have come to expect from us. Justin’s leadership extends to managing the day-to-day operations of Adrians’ accounting and private wealth teams, driving improvements in business processes, and playing a pivotal role in the company’s forward momentum.

Prior to joining Adrians, Justin served as General Manager of a boutique financial planning business, where he streamlined operations and elevated the client experience. He also held key roles in compliance and audit services for one of Australia’s largest financial planning organizations, served as a senior educator in a prominent learning and development team, and has significant experience as a financial planner, providing financial advice to clients.

In his spare time Justin enjoys combining his love for spending time with his wife and daughter and travelling, which has led him to explore other countries including Japan and India.

Sally Abercrombie FCA

Sally has over 30 years experience as a qualified accountant and has 24 years of experience in professional practice as well as working for JP Morgan in London.  Sally is a qualified Fellow Chartered Accountant and her time in professional practice has been predominantly in business advisory, working with owner-managed businesses and high net wealth individuals.  She has worked with clients from a wide range of industries including wholesale, retail, building, engineering consulting, design & creative agencies, medical and investment. Sally is proud of the fact that she has clients today that she started working with in the early 90’s as a graduate accountant. Her longevity in the profession means she is well placed to advise businesses whatever stage in their business life cycle.

Faisal Mohamed CA

Faisal joined the Adrians practice in 2008 as a graduate accountant and has worked his way up through the ranks and is now a Partner within the firm.  He has a passion for working with family businesses to create value within their businesses and help them realise their aspirations.  He has a very keen focus on trouble-shooting difficult situations and strategizing solutions to move forward.  He has had extensive experience within the SME business and SMSF space and in dealing with government regulatory bodies such as the ATO. Faisal is a registered Tax Agent and qualified CA, having completed the relevant training for advisory in public practice.  He hails from a background of academic excellence, having been awarded a number of merits through his studies.

Angeline has been helping businesses for more than 25 years and has been a part of the Adrians team since 2013. Previously she ran a business consulting firm and held various Financial Management roles in large multinational businesses. She is a wife, mother and CPA, holding a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Computing. Angeline practices in business advisory and taxation but is incredibly passionate about strategic planning, business efficiency and cloud systems architecture. Angeline helps her clients work out what they want to achieve in life and to define the roadmap to make goals happen. She is a skilled facilitator and problem solver, who believes that there is always a better way. She has deep expertise in working with business owners to devise structured plans to build value in their businesses via the Adrians Value Creation Plan process. Hayley joined the Adrians team in January of 2022 as a Senior Associate. Coming from KPMG, Hayley has plenty of experience in compliance and advisory services for SME’s and the individual affairs of the business owners. Hayley has experience in the preparation of tax compliance for all entity types and the management of complex tax events. Her industry specialities include clients in the engineering, construction, manufacturing, franchising, property development and real estate.

Hayley is passionate about offering advisory services to assist her clients in achieving their business milestones, to grow and maintain their success. Away from the office, Hayley trained as a figure skater for 8 years between the ages of 10 to 18!

Adrians Group Staff Kimberley Middlemis

Kimberley Middlemis FCA

Kimberley has 30 years’ experience at a professional practitioner, board, and business owner level in the financial services sector, spanning business advisory, accounting, and wealth management. Kimberley is a Director and a shareholder of Adrians, one of Australia’s leading boutique integrated Chartered Accounting and Wealth Management firms. Kimberley is also a Director of Adrians Wealth Management, the business via which Private Wealth Advice is provided to clients.

Kimberley’s role at Adrians includes Business Advisory, Tax Compliance and Strategic Planning. At the same time, she is still playing an active role as the trusted adviser to a selection of the firm’s business clients. Kimberley sits on the Advisory Boards of a number of these businesses, many of whom are high profile QLD success stories, with whom she has worked closely for years, providing strategic advice.

After finishing university with a Bachelor of Commerce she commenced her studies to become a Chartered Accountant (CA), achieving the Certificate of Merit Award for top 5% of candidates in Australia for Financial Reporting with CA ANZ, and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 2000. Kimberley has also completed the Executive Program with a focus on Leading Professional Services Firms at Harvard Business School in the USA.

With a focus on giving back to the industry and community, Kimberley is on the Public Practitioner Panel for Chartered Accountants Australia and NZ, (CAANZ) and plays a formal mentoring role for a number of junior accountants at the early stages of their careers. In recognition of years of service to the profession, in 2021 Kimberley was admitted as a Fellow of the CA ANZ.

Kimberley has also held Board roles in not for profit organisations including as a Director of Habitat for Humanity NSW and Queensland.

Jim Wheeler FCA

Jim has been with Adrians since 1993 starting as the Managing Partner & Director and now working as a Partner in advisory & tax. Originally from Victoria, Jim worked with another boutique accounting firm from 1980 to 1993 where he made partner in 1986. After moving to Brisbane Jim had purchased what was then named the Adrian, Warry & Hoppner firm. Jim now works with Adrians as a mentor, advisory support and deals with higher level client consultations. He spends his day assisting other team members with client related queries and with client communications where required. Jim is a mentor to all of the Adrians team especially the Accounting Partners as he has set a benchmark for Adrians level of work and client experience. Jim is passionate about getting results for his clients in difficult financial or business-related situations. He also loves to see the younger Adrians team develop and grow within their roles and become experienced professionals in the firm he pioneered.

Yi brings over 19 years of experience in Accounting and Business Advisory and has been a valued member of the Adrians team since 2005. After graduating in 2002, she began her career as an internal accountant in a leading manufacturing firm, where she built a strong foundation in commercial finance. Since joining Adrians, Yi has steadily progressed through the ranks – earning her reputation through dedication, depth of knowledge, and strong client relationships – ultimately stepping into her current role as Senior Associate.

Over the years, Yi has advised clients across a broad range of industries including building and construction, medical, manufacturing, real estate, automotive, and investment entities. Known for her trusted advice and strategic insight, Yi specialises in areas such as budgeting, cash flow management, tax planning, group business structures, and capital gains tax concessions for small businesses.

Ann Costanzo

Client Manager

Ann’s professional journey is a testament to lifelong learning and reinvention. After completing her university studies, she joined Adrians as a graduate accountant and has since worked her way up to become a trusted Client Manager. She now supports a diverse portfolio of clients, including companies and superannuation funds, guiding them through complex tax matters with clarity and care.

Before making the leap into accounting and advisory, Ann spent 21 years as a practicing veterinarian and ran her own successful veterinary clinic. Her background in science and business ownership gives her a well-rounded perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by small business owners.

Outside of work, Ann enjoys cooking, cycling, and hiking. She also continues to give back to the community by volunteering her veterinary skills with the charity Pets in the Park.

Alisha is the Client Experience Manager at Adrians Group, leading the team responsible for ensuring every interaction—whether in the office, at events, or through phone and email – reflects the high standard of service Adrians is known for. Alisha has brings over a decade of customer service experience across industries including food service, retail, and events. Her passion for creating exceptional client experiences and her approachable nature make her a key part of the Adrians team.

Before Adrians, Alisha worked in the events sector, helping university graduates across Australia celebrate their achievements. Her strong background in both customer service and event coordination makes her a valuable asset to the client experience journey at Adrians.

Outside of work, Alisha enjoys exploring new recipes, spending time with family and friends, and playing social netball.

Operations Officer

Nicole has been a valued member of the Adrians team since 2006. As part of the Administration Support team, she plays a key role in managing incoming and outgoing client correspondence, along with handling important ASIC and ATO-related updates and tasks.

With a strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude, Nicole is always ready to lend a hand around the office and is committed to supporting a smooth and efficient workflow for the wider team. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time in the garden and heading off on camping trips.

Fionnuala Lingard

Client Experience Officer

Fionnuala joined the Adrians team in October 2024 as Receptionist & Administrative Officer and is a key part of the Operations team. With over five years of customer service experience, she brings a positive, client-focused approach to her role and is always looking for new ways to enhance the Adrians client experience.

Fionnuala is currently working toward a Bachelor of Advanced Business, majoring in Finance and Business Analytics, further strengthening her capabilities in both client service and business operations.

Outside of work, Fionnuala is a passionate reader of both classic and contemporary literature, and enjoys running in nature to stay fit and refreshed.
